UPA Opens Registration for New Class of Cadets

The Universal Peace Academy (UPA) is proud to open recruitment for its fourth class. Since its establishment four years ago, UPA has dedicated itself to educating young people who can unite with God and True Parents to become leaders in the world.
There will be a UPA Orientation and Interview Session on Saturday, August 15 at 11:00AM on the FFWPU 12th floor conference room at the New Yorker Hotel. Anyone interested in attending UPA next year is invited to attend.
UPA is an exciting opportunity for young people to study and learn the Korean language and culture in a spiritually vibrant environment. Education in faith, spirituality, truth, administration of general affairs, liberal arts, and language (Korean, English) provide students with a well rounded education during their first year of language study. Following the language study, cadets may then begin a 2-year Master course followed by a 1- year internship. Students also look forward to overseas programs including holy ground pilgrimages, witnessing, and cultural experiences during summer and winter vacation periods.
Accepted cadets are eligible for True Parents’ special scholarship, which covers tuition, dormitory fee, and basic education fees. Upon graduation of the complete 4 year program, cadets are appointed to a public mission by True Parents.
Qualified applicants are American Unificationists with a model life of faith, good physical health, and a clear understanding of Divine Principle and the providence. Applicants should have completed a 4-year university, or have earned a degree of equal or higher status, have a desire to pursue leadership in public life, and have no physical or mental handicaps which would inhibit pursuit of the course.
Applications will be accepted for 15 days beginning September 7-21. Students will then go through a round of interviews in early October, followed by an entrance exam including a Divine Principle test, language test (Korean, English), physical test, and interview.
