Thank You, Minnesota Families
Dear Minnesota Family Members,
Many greetings in True Parents’ name to all Minnesota family members. When I was in Minnesota two weeks ago for the groundbreaking ceremony for the new church, I was very inspired to see the unity between the co-pastors and between the pastors and the family members. I have seen and felt True Parents’ love and heart from each one of you. I am also very proud of your teamwork between younger and elder Unificationists for Vision 2020 and the new church building. Thank you again, Minnesota families.
I was the regional leader in Minnesota twice, in 1986 and in 1990. My family and I still talk about the many good memories we have because of your beautiful hearts. At that time, almost 20 years ago, the Minnesota community and I purchased the sorority house on campus as a new church. And now, the future new church building will be 10 times bigger and 1,000 times better than the old one; it will be a brand new building, planned to meet your needs, and based on your ideal. It is among our first new church buildings in America; we’re not just buying and using an old church, but building our own. Local pastor Rev. Hyungtae Ha and the council members gave an excellent presentation about the new church building plan. It was truly inspiring.
I was also very moved by your commitment and activities to fulfill heavenly tribal messiahship. I was expecting around 10 family members at the breakfast meeting with me, but more than 30 members joined the meeting and shared their testimonies. Your testimonies of witnessing to American Clergy Leadership Conference (ACLC) pastors, reaching out to Hmong communities, conducting group Marriage Blessing activities, and even how you tried to share the Marriage Blessing to all who came to the Superbowl game last year, were all very inspiring and uplifting. I do not often hear such stories from other churches, and I share about what I heard from you wherever I go.
This morning, at my Hoon Dok Hae reading of True Mother’s Anthology, I read that the mission of Unificationist families is to testify about True Parents. And I am happy to see that you are committed to doing that.
I received a lot of spiritual power and grew more confident with your commitment to the new church building and to heavenly tribal messiahship activities, to restore our country that Heavenly Parent and True Parents love so much. Thank you again to all Minnesota family members.
May Heavenly Parent’s abundant blessings be with you and your families.
Sincerely,
Dr. Ki Hoon Kim
