On December 29, the day after the successful Peace Starts With Me Clergy Rally: A New Hope for a Heavenly Unified World in Newark, New Jersey, members of the Korean Clergy Leadership Conference (KCLC) took a trip to Harlem, New York to experience an authentic Christian Sunday service.
The Memorial Baptist Church in Harlem thrives on welcoming people from all over the world to their house of worship and sharing their spirit and love for God through praise dancing and musical entertainment.
Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. Renee F. Washington Gardner attended the Peace Starts With Me Clergy Rally and welcomed American Clergy Leadership Conference (ACLC) Co-chairman Dr. Luonne Rouse to share a brief message about peace.
“We need to unite as people of faith,” Dr. Rouse began. “We [ACLC] are to establish a partnership with our local churches, because it’s not just one community that needs guidance, it’s all communities everywhere.”
