Easter Online and as a Region

Every week Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) USA leaders join a Zoom call and share the latest news and updates. This week, Rev. John Jackson, FFWPU Southwest regional director, shared a heartwarming story about how families from all over his region gathered online for an Easter Dessert and Egg decorating contest.
After the National Live Sunday Service on April 12 the Southwest region held an Easter Celebration through Zoom. 85 people joined for a quick check-in and a short message from Rev. Jackson. The main portion of the call was dedicated to two different Easter competitions between the participants. One competition was for the most creative and festive dessert among the different households, and the other was an egg decorating competition for the kids.
Each participant had a short time to describe their dessert and or egg, and the top three in each category were decided by a few judges, with prizes for those winners.
It was a joyful and fun way to celebrate Easter together, although it would have been nice to taste everyone’s dessert.
