Congratulations, True Mother!

One year ago on April 6, 2019, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, co-founder of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU), and affectionately known as True Mother, was invited by Bishop Noel Jones to his megachurch, City of Refuge, in Los Angeles, California. Together with FFWPU-USA, City of Refuge hosted a Peace Starts With Me rally with an interreligious gathering and a message of peace by True Mother. 

To celebrate this historical anniversary, Unificationists of the Los Angeles community, who are currently practicing shelter-in-place at the Pasadena House, made a cake and had lunch honoring True Mother and City of Refuge. Below is an excerpt from the weekly FFWPU-USA leaders’ Zoom call where Rev. Larry Krishnek, West subregional director, reminisces about the preparations, and Dr. Ki Hoon Kim, regional chairman of FFWPU North America, shares his memorable offering to True Mother.
