A Celebratory Gift to True Parents
As part of the celebrations surrounding the successful third anniversary of True Father’s Seonghwa (ascension), the United States and other continents were very pleased to present True Parents with commemorative gifts. Some nations chose to honor True Parents with a work of art or sculpture representing their cultures and traditions; others offered a memento or souvenir of a precious and historical time with True Parents.
This year, the American movement decided to honor True Parents’ remarkable record of public speaking in the US. Over a fifty year period, 1965-2015, True Father, True Mother and their family spoke in all 50 states and several hundred cities, more than 575 times in total. Dr. Ki Hoon Kim, Continental Chair of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) North America, and Dr. Michael Balcomb, President of FFWPU USA, presented True Mother with a beautiful poster in honor of this mighty effort.
