Background
Ernest Patton was born in Alabama in 1955 and raised in a college town in South Carolina. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a double major in English Literature and Philosophy in 1978 and joined the Unification Church in Berkeley, CA, later that summer.
He worked in fundraising and witnessing programs, became a state leader for FFWPU USA and began attending the Unification Theological Seminary, with plans to graduate in 2018. Subsequently, he worked in businesses. He was elected Pastor of the Northern Virginia Family Church (NVFC) in 2010.
In 2013 he began serving as the district pastor for District 4, and in 2015 began working exclusively as District Pastor for Maryland, D.C. and Virginia.
He is grateful to have received the Marriage Blessing on July 1, 1982 with Keiko Kohama from Naha-city, Okinawa. They have four precious children over a range of 14 years, including one offered to a beautiful family that has become an eternal extended family.
