Rev. John Jackson

Background

Rev. John Jackson was born in El Monte, California in 1962 and joined the Unification Church in Georgia in 1984. The following year, he pioneered the Unification Church in Savannah Georgia for one year. After attending a 40-day workshop in New York he joined MET, The National Mobile Fundraising team in 1985. He worked for OWP from 1986 to 1990. Rev. Jackson received the Marriage Blessing with Fusae Tobisawa in Korea in 1989. They have five children: Sean, Aaron, Maya, Sarah, and Yusuke.

Rev. Jackson has owned multiple companies: A & J International, Jackson Construction and development, and Crews Construction. In 1996 he was asked to pastor of the Little Rock, Arkansas Family Church where he and his wife served until 1999. He was appointed the Vice Regional Leader for the Texas Region in 1999 and is a founding member of the American Clergy Leadership Conference. He is proud to have attended True Parents on their historic 50 State Tour to save America.

In 2005, he graduated from the Unification Theological Seminary with a Master’s in Religious Education. Rev. Jackson went on to plant the Family Garden Church in Benton, Arkansas, and from November 2013 he has been serving as district pastor for District 9 Texas Region, where he presently serves as the senior pastor of the DFW Family Church in Dallas Texas.
