Celebrate Chil Pal Jeol and Chil Il Jeol Safely

Dear Pastors, Community Leaders, Brothers and Sisters,

Thank you always for your steadfast dedication to support and participate in True Parents and Heavenly Parent’s providence.

Tomorrow, August 19, 2020, 7.1 by the lunar calendar of the 8th year of CIG, our Unification community will commemorate two of the eight major Holy Days: the 30th Declaration Day of God’s Eternal Blessing (Chil Il Jeol), and the 24th Declaration of the Realm of the Cosmic Sabbath for the Parents of Heaven and Earth (Chil Pal Jeol). Due to COVID 19, we do not encourage gatherings at our local churches, but we can hold virtual prayer services, and we encourage families to share about the origin and meaning of these Holy Days.

On the 2nd Anniversary of the Declaration Day of God’s Eternal Blessing, True Father said:

Today, July first, is Chil Il Jeol. As July is the number seven, it corresponds to the jubilee year. It means we have entered the historical age of liberation. Throughout history women have been held in captivity in the most miserable ways. That is why I established the Women’s Federation for World Peace, with the objective to unite all women of the world for their liberation. Who is leading it? Mother is leading it. Mother is its representative. We should be grateful that Mother could emerge, and this is thanks to the establishment of Chil Il Jeol. With that, I could dispatch tribal messiahs, and meet Kim Il Sung and win him over. Afterwards, when I returned to South Korea, the public finally recognized my name. The declaration of Chil Pal Jeol was made on the foundation of completing the blessing of 3.6 million couples. True Parents explained that God was finally able to take his “Cosmic Sabbath”, and that God’s eternal resting place can now be in the heart and home of every Blessed family. These are indeed special times in the providence. As we prepare for the 8th Anniversary of True Father’s Seonghwa and for the next Rally of Hope centered on True Mother, let us continue to pray and reflect on True Parents’ course and teaching. These Holy Days mark significant providential victories True Parents offered to our Heavenly Parent. As Blessed families, let us inherit these victories and share about their values.
