Early Bird for Parents Matching Convocation – Oct 10th
We know that the matching tradition in the Unification faith and engagement process is an important milestone, not just for the child, but for the whole family. If your family is thinking about the matching, you don’t want to miss the Parents Matching Convocation (PMC) on October 24-26 at UTS, The PMC offers a great opportunity for parents to understand the Matching Process, learn from those who have matched their children successfully, and network with other families. We’re looking forward to a great weekend, and spots are filling up! Learn more and register at BlessedFamilies.org. Don’t miss the Oct 10 early bird registration deadline!
Can’t make it to the convocation? No problem! Visit Matchbook at BlessedFamilies.org and create an online profile by October 15, and we’ll display your profile during the weekend, so you still have a chance to connect with participants and families who attend the convocation. If you already have a profile, don’t forget to update it by October 9. We will only display profiles that have been updated after March 2013.
Interested in becoming a Matching Advisor? The weekend will also feature a Matching Advisor Training Seminar on Friday and Saturday for anyone who feels called to this special ministry. Participants will be trained to support matching candidates and families through a smooth and healthy matching process, and help prepare them to receive the Marriage Blessing. The ideal MA should feel called to this ministry, be trustworthy, a good listener, a patient communicator, and happily Blessed in marriage. He or she should also have a few hours per week of availability to devote to this ministry on an on-going basis. The training is free of charge to those who register online before Oct. 20. Learn more or register for the training at bfm.familyfed.org. Those who participate in the Matching Advisors Training can also participate in the entire PMC for a greatly reduced fee.

Hello, I would like to register my mother for the upcoming blessing convocation. She is flying in from Austria, Europe, and we are not registered on the blessed family.org. Is there any other way that she can be registered for the blessing convocation? Thank you very much,
Doreen Waldmann
