We Are One
Dear Family,
Thank you all for your faith and devotion, and constant effort to support Heavenly Parent and True Parents’ providence.
Certainly, we are living in a time that requires absolute faith in God and unity as a family. Last Sunday, we spoke about True Parents’ strong determination to go forward no matter the challenge facing them. True Father went to Danbury already initiating the next providential action, awaking Christianity and developing The Washington Times. True Mother did the same, not only uniting with True Father’s instructions from Danbury, but when True Father ascended to the spirit world, True Mother set out to guide and lead the world providence through the past seven years with determination and resilience, showing us the power of faith and love. If you missed last Sunday’s service, you can watch it here.
We believe that we can turn this unprecedented challenge into an opportunity that will make us spiritually stronger and healthier. Victory is already ours, and the road to 2027 is set. Through this new challenge, let us forge an even stronger unity to make way for seven years of new miracles to occur in God’s providence. 100% we believe America is leading!
Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts to our leaders and families across the nation. Some of you may be wondering how our GPA participants are doing for example. Roland Platt, director of GPA, is constantly communicating with the parents and working together with our guidance to adjust the entire program to follow strict CDC guidelines. We will update you with new details as they are confirmed.
Additionally, our entire HQ staff has been preparing for two weeks to be able to work remotely, with both phone and server connections to be able to operate seamlessly. Tomorrow we are conducting a mandatory work-from-home day to test the entire system, which as it turns out might be just in time. Furthermore, in response to the financial impact and all the changes to our event calendar, we are carefully analyzing all projects and services for maximum effectiveness and minimal expenditure, so that we may continue to steward our heavenly assets with care.
For your health, we encourage everyone to follow the instructions from your local authorities. Some of our cities are already experiencing closures of schools, restaurants, etc. Nationally, we are encouraged to limit our gatherings. True Parents taught us how to live for the sake of others, so let us think of others as we work together through the storm. Doing our part by obeying the CDC and our government’s guidelines is the right thing to do.
Already we are adapting and developing new skill sets to keep our ministries going. For the time we are becoming an Online Church. Our communities are encouraged to set up an online donation and a Text-to-Give option with help from HQ by the end of this week. We will continue to live stream Sunday Services (although we will be reducing exposure even for our HQ team and minimizing the production). We are developing other new initiatives like online Divine Principle workshops as well.
Let us stay with one heart and one spirit, study together, pray together, worship together – online – and we can continue to grow and strengthen our communities and support our nation. Let us make True Mother proud of us. Let Heavenly Parent and True Parents truly delight in us.
God bless you all,
Dr. Ki Hoon Kim

A riddle. What is spread from person to person, can go all around the planet and is highly contagious?
