Young Clergy Leadership Conference Launch

As part of the year-end excitement surrounding the Peace Starts With Me Clergy Rally: A New Hope for a Heavenly Unified World, the Young Clergy Leadership Conference (YCLC) was officially launched on December 28 immediately following the main event.
YCLC stands on the foundation of the American Clergy Leadership Conference (ACLC), a coalition of faith leaders working beyond denomination to strengthen marriages and families, and provides a space for young leaders to inherit from their elder peers, bring forth their creativity and ownership, and feel hope for the impact this generation can bring.
A total of 600 youth, including 200 invited guests, attended the launching whose program consisted of dinner, table topic discussions, high-spirited musical performances by Christian artists, and guest speakers endorsing YCLC under the theme of “Peace Starts With Me: What the World Needs Now.”
“YCLC is important at this time because it is an organization that can only be run by young people; there is no one else who can do this work,” said Kaeleigh Moffitt, director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries (YAYAM) and a key member of the YCLC core team. “It’s inviting young people to take an active role in God’s providence.”
In the year 2020, YCLC plans to host five subregional weekend conferences all over the nation.
