Reflecting on the National Memorial Service
People from around the nation shared their reflections on the National Memorial Service for the second anniversary of True Father’s Seonghwa. Whether you were at the Manhattan Center or viewed the event live from your home, please send in your experience and what this service meant to you.
“We watched the broadcast from Orlando, Florida. What a joy to be able to watch this historical event in America! True Mother said that September is a month of harvest, and boy, this was truly a sight to behold. I cried the whole time during the Water Ceremony. The word “unity” filled my heart. The whole program was so beautiful. I want to thank everyone for the hard work and love they put into making this a day to forgive, love and unite. We hope these words will become part of our daily diet.”

“My wife and I watched together at home, and we both felt good about the event. I particularly liked the heart with which Rev. Riley conducted the interfaith part of the event, as well as the words and fire of Neil Salonen. His message was comforting and gave meaning to the trials we Unificationists and the world have been going through.”

The speakers were amazingly profound and seriously speaking about the Mission of True Parents and the movement. The audience was very attentive and I witness tears flowing throughout the event. As if saying, now I get it, now I get True Parents, now is the time to move forward. The legacy of True Parent is alive and will reside in the hearts of many Americans and those around the world.

Wonderful program, although so far I have only have been able to see the edited edition and hope America will post the program in its entirety on the national website.
As an American living in Paris, I was so comforted and moved by the ACLC ministers and especially dear Cong. Burton testimony to our True Parent’s amazing work and the critical importance of vindicating our True Father.
We pray for the healing of America, and especially the unity of the True Children with True Mother’s vision for 2020. America is truly the light and hope of the world.
With love and support from France.
