A Thankful Heart

The following is a transcript of Dr. Ki Hoon Kim, regional chairman for Family Federation North America, who gave words of thanks and appreciation at the Department Leaders Meeting on Tuesday, December 10.

Good morning everyone. I feel like we are now moving forward because Archbishop Stallings is in New York. For the last few weeks we have been taking a back seat, but, from today on, you should be driving. Don’t you think so? [Yes.] When Archbishop Stalling is moving and driving so will we. We will have great spiritual power with our mobilization teams. I will be speaking with our leaders on a weekly basis.

Thank you to Rev. Dunkley, Dr. Michael Jenkins, our business activists like Markus Karr, and the 24-hour mobilization teams and operation teams for your great work. 

Last night, I heard that over 9,000 guests confirmed in attending the December 28 rally; we received every name, every email, every telephone number. This is a great outcome, and with these resources in our database, we can move forward after this event.

More than anything, I’ve seen family members all across the 50 states participating in prayer conditions, donations, and mobilization for this event. I could feel the uplifting of our lives through True Parents and through True Mother’s 40-Day Cosmic-Level Canaan Course. We are so excited to welcome our True Mother, and for her to inherit our spirit to proclaim a new providence centering on the clergy this coming December 28. I am so grateful that we are one, united team who can bring great success.

Last weekend, we had a prayer breakfast meeting in Brooklyn and A. Curtis Farrow came. He shared about how, when he was visiting the stadium in South Africa, he ran into Mike McDevitt who was checking security for True Mother’s visit. After he heard about True Mother’s speaking tour, Curtis was very shocked and in awe at how wonderful it was that Mother Moon was holding a Blessing Ceremony in one of the biggest stadiums in Africa before she comes to America.

Already this is True Mother’s great victory foundation. If we unite with True Mother and inherit this victorious foundation, we can get more than 30,000 clergymen for the rally. We will shout with one another for the sake of God and for the sake of this country, America, centering on True Mother.

We are so excited. And with this spirit, we can go forward for December 28, and after December 28 we can be on the front line with a victorious flag for the sake of the glory of Heavenly Parent and the glory of True Parents and the glory of all blessed central families. I am so impressed by our family members throughout the nation who are uplifted and revived.

We have never done a National Victory Fund before. We have never tried to raise $7 million before. Everything we’re doing, including mobilization, volunteers, and more than anything, our second generation members standing up more than the first generation members, all of this is for the great hope for our community and for True Mother. True Mother is always pleased to hear about our second generation members standing up and participating in True Parents’ providence for the sake of God and Cheon Il Guk. This is the greatest hope we have.

I am very amazed at Naokimi, the Captain of our mobilization team in New Jersey. Now, more than ever, I see the New Jersey family members at the front line doing church visitations. It’s great seeing everyone working and coming together. 

This is the greatest hope we have for America to be revived once again centering on True Mother. Thank you everyone, and God bless you all.
