A Letter from the Executive Office: 40 Days of Devotion

Dear Family,

It’s amazing to think that almost 100 years ago, in 1920, our True Father was born. What were the sounds surrounding his birth? What was the atmosphere and environment at the time of our True Father’s first cry? It’s appropriate that we draw our minds back to reflect on that time, in what is now North Korea, when only Heaven was fully aware of what was taking place.

40 years later, Heaven was able to bring another miracle, when God’s Only Begotten Son and Only Begotten Daughter were blessed in marriage. There have been billions of weddings throughout human history, but this was the very first time in human history that a wedding could be officiated by our Heavenly Parent.

It is these two major events that we are celebrating this coming February 2020. But we are not just celebrating these events with a ceremony, we are celebrating with incredible results. Worldwide results thanks to the incredible investment of our precious True Father and True Mother. Thank you, True Parents!

To consider how much we have received, and how much humanity has received from our True Parents, is truly awe inspiring. Let us humble our minds and be ready to offer ourselves for this incredible upcoming milestone in history.

Leading up to the celebration of True Father’s Centenary and True Parents’ Holy Wedding Anniversary, True Mother is continuing her world tour. This week she is going to Cambodia, and will oversee the Asia Pacific Summit. From there she will go to Africa and Central America, and culminating in the USA with the Clergy Rally for a Heavenly Unified World on December 28 at the Prudential Center.

Therefore, True Parents asked all blessed families to join together for a 40-day worldwide period of devotion for True Mother’s health and safety and the success of this world tour. We are asked to fully participate with our devotion and offering. First, let us pray and offer our determination with a humble heart. Let us read True Parents’ Word daily. Let us work to fulfill our responsibility as Heavenly Tribal Messiahs. And let us offer a devotional activity, such as bowing or fasting. In addition, blessed families and members worldwide are asked to offer a special donation for True Parents’ Birthday of $1000 per family or $210 per individual. There will be commemorative gifts presented. Those who offer $10,000 or more will receive a commemorative gold medal, and those who offer $1000 or more will receive a silver medal.

We are asking all American blessed families and members to participate in this special 40-day condition and offering.

Let us offer our utmost best as we welcome True Mother in America this December, so Heavenly Parent and True Parents can accept this offering and claim complete victory.
