On November 5, the Triangle Family Church hosted 22 people of faith for an American Clergy Leadership Conference (ACLC) prayer breakfast in Durham, North Carolina. Guests traveled from near and far to attend the first prayer breakfast held in the area in years.
The program began with a deeply moving prayer by local Unificationist Ron Pappalardo. The keynote message, titled “A United Body of Christ: A Divine Bridge Over Troubled Waters,” was given by Father Bayo Adrien, pastor of Richmond Family Church. Guests were inspired by the powerful and profound message, and many asked him to come speak at their own churches in the future. Everyone also enjoyed a beautiful and delicious breakfast, lovingly prepared by Triangle Family Church volunteers, as they got to know one another.
Following the event, participants, who had been strangers only a few hours prior, embraced one another as brothers and sisters. “God is really working, isn’t He?” said a Triangle Family Church volunteer. One participant shared how inspired they were seeing the brightness in people’s faces. Another participant offered to host four prayer breakfasts at their own church in 2020.
