Washington, D.C. hosts Prayer Luncheon

In preparation for the Southeast Regional banquet on November 16 and the World Clergy Leadership Conference (WCLC) on December 28, the Washington, D.C. Family Church organized a spirit-filled Prayer Luncheon on October 24 at The Washington Times in collaboration with other district pastors.

Father Bayo Adrien, pastor of the Richmond Family Church in Virginia, emceed the program, while Pastor Marlow Mitchell of the Rising Sun Baptist in Washington, D.C. offered an opening prayer. Pastor of the Washington, D.C. Family Church Dr. Achille Acolatse gave a welcoming remark, followed by Rev. Randall Francis and Bishop Vandy Kenny, co-chairmen for the American Clergy Leadership Conference (ACLC) in the Delaware-Maryland-Virginia area, introduced ACLC and its initiatives.

Chairman of Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Dr. Michael Jenkins gave a warm introduction to Archbishop Georges Augustus Stallings, Jr., chairman of International Association for Peace and Development (IAPD), who gave a very powerful keynote message that moved the hearts of the audience. Archbishop Stallings said, “I felt a spirit possession unlike ever before. It signals victory for us on November 16 and December 28. It’s our season Cheon Il Guk! Keep moving forward.”

Youth Leader at New Hope Family Church Gabby Marchitelli gave a heartfelt message about the Youth Revival that will take place the evening of November 16 in the Arbor Ballroom at The Washington Times and invited the pastors to support the revival through their youth ministries.

After watching a video presentation on UPF, Susan Fefferman, ACLC coordinator at New Hope Family Church led the Ambassadors for Peace ceremony where five religious leaders were appointed as Ambassadors for Peace, concluding with a Marriage Blessing Ceremony.
