Local Vegas Talent Promotes Unity Festival
On June 18, Las Vegas native singer and songwriter Veronica Lopez, who once sang her song “America’s Glory” in front of 700,000 people in Los Angeles, invited members of the Collegiate Association for the Research of Principles (CARP) Las Vegas chapter to speak on her show Aqui con Vero, a bilingual show where she discusses everyday topics.
CARP members first met Ms. Lopez at the Women’s Federation for World Peace Schools of Africa fundraiser at the International Peace Education Center (IPEC) on February 2, 2019. There she witnessed a CARP flash mob and was moved by the youth’s energy and heart. Ms. Lopez felt enthused to give CARP an opportunity to share about their vision and purpose through campus events and the upcoming Youth Revival Concert at IPEC on June 21.
In concluding her show segment, Ms. Lopez spoke directly to any parents who have college-aged children to encourage them to connect with CARP, attend the Youth Revival Concert and the June 22 Unity Festival.

Awesome job, Miaaaaaaaa! Yeah, Akira and Veronica and Abbyyyyy! You are the light of Shine City! Even if we add another “s” it is the second person verb “Shines”. WHY you ask?? Because if we add “He” to “sin” to make “shine”(Father God), we add “She” to “sin” to make “Shines”(Mother God)! Veronica was fantastic and we really love having this all sides approach to witnessing as one community here in LV. GO, CARP flash mob dancers!! You know who you are.
