Il Shim Graduation in Arkansas
A graduation ceremony was held for five Il Shim participants in Little Rock, Arkansas on Sunday, June 9. Over the past several months, they spent many hours after Sunday service studying Il Shim curriculum.
Il Shim, Korean for “one heart,” helps young Unificationists grow their lives of faith, discover ways to serve their local communities, and deepen their understanding of God’s heart, the Unification movement, and themselves.
Il Shim curriculum also emphasizes developing parent-child relationships and creating a space to discuss important topics such as life and faith. Many of these participants have already taken on responsibilities within their community, but after completing the Il Shim program, they are now inspired to do even more.
