Happy Easter!
Easter is a fun-filled celebration for both adults and children. The holiday commemorates the resurrection of Jesus from the dead as described in the New Testament. From decorations to festive meals, it’s an opportunity to come together and create traditions that will leave lasting memories. Here are four ways you can celebrate and enjoy the holiday with family, friends, and your community:
Attend an Easter Sunday Service
Attend an Easter Sunday Service with a small or large group, and exchange your own personal stories of life-change. Gain inspiration and hope through a sermon or listening to the stories of others.
Prepare a Special Meal
Nothing brings people together quite like food during a holiday. Planning and cooking a meal with family and friends, or hosting a potluck, is a great way to connect with one another. You can try out new recipes, or prepare an Easter-themed dish for brunch or dinner. Festive pancakes, cookies, and fruit platters are among some popular ideas.
Easter Story Egg Hunt
Celebrate with a creative Easter egg hunt that not only includes candy, but also pieces of the story of Easter or scripture inside plastic eggs. It’s a fun, easy way to observe the holiday in a more traditionally religious fashion.
Visit a Farm
The rabbit, or hare, was a prevalent theme in medieval church art. Visit a small farm or petting zoo to see rabbits, chicks, sheep, and other animals with this family-friendly outing. Your kids are bound to love this adventurous way to celebrate the holiday.

Being with family’s eating and going to church, being with good people and praying for all my family and friends to be safe. Amen

currently my family celebrates every Easter Sunday with my in-laws at their church. This started when my Mother in-law was still with us on here on earth. Where ever we live, in PA or in Long Island NY we traveled to the Brookdale Reformed church in Bloomfield and celebrated together. It began with a potluck breakfast, everyone brings a dish themed for Easter breakfast. After that we join in celebration in Easter Service , retelling the story of Mary Magdalena and other women finding the stone rolled away from Jesus’s tomb. I especially delight in the Easter Liturgy and Easter songs. They speak of victory and hope and new beginning. At home we do decorate with Forsythia branches in a vase from which we hanging colorful painted eggs. We also hide nests filled with Easter eggs for every family member to find. Of course a chocolate bunny is always included. A wonderful walk in a park nearby tops it off.

This Easter post is a bit disappointing to see. Easter is a very important holiday both in the Christian tradition and for the Unification Movement. This is the day when True Father received his calling from Jesus. Not to mention that today is also Good Friday.
I hope there will be another message posted on the website that can explain these ideas better.
