Bay Area Family Church Ends the Year with Dr. Ki Hoon Kim

On December 30, the last Sunday of 2018, the Bay Area Family Church was very fortunate to welcome Regional Chairman of Family Federation North America, Dr. Ki Hoon Kim to give a message for Sunday Service.

Dr. Kim had just returned to America from spending Christmas with True Mother in Korea and everyone was anxious to hear what True Mother‘s aspirations are for the new year. He began with a little Thank You presentation to Rev. Kevin Thompson on behalf of the Bay Area Family Church for contributions to support True Mother’s recent Peace Starts With Me event at Nassau Coliseum on November 12. Dr. Kim shared that while growing up his English teacher in Korea taught him that the most important words he needed to were, ‘thank you.’ As long as we always remember to say ‘thank you’ it can always create the right atmosphere and build good relationships.

Dr. Kim continued with by stating that True Mother hopes for America to accomplish national restoration and become the first country to achieve Cheon Il Guk. As the elder son nation, America has two missions; first is to welcome and attend True Parents as the elder son; second, the elder son is responsible to take care of brothers and sisters around the world. America needs to learn and spread the essence of Christianity, which is, Living for The Sake of Others.
