YSP International Music Contest
The International Youth and Students for Peace (YSP) conference was held from October 15 to 22, 2018 at the World Peace Center in Cheongpyeong. During this conference, a Hyojeong Music Contest was held where talents from all across the world performed.
David Canarsky and Hana Namowicz from Sun Moon University represented the United States of America, singing “We Are the World” by Michael Jackson. Their performance inspired the audience to sing together in the uplifting atmosphere.

The International Hyojeong Music Contest will be held every year, therefore the Hyojeong Culture Department in the United States is looking for any kind of talent; singing, dancing or playing an instrument. There will be opportunities to perform in Korea on church holidays, such as True Parents’ Birthday, Foundation Day and the Cosmic Blessing Ceremony. If you are interested in auditioning to perform, please contact Luke Higuchi at lhiguchi@unification.org.
