Tomorrow, November 27, is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, also known as Giving Tuesday. Giving Tuesday was created as an international day of charitable giving in order to launch the Christmas and Holiday season of giving. True Mother completed a victorious visit to America and continues on to Africa and Asia.

The Peace Starts With Me rally at Nassau Coliseum on November 12 was a magnificent celebration as Christianity welcomed True Mother in New York.

Leading up to the event was an international conference launching the Interreligious Association for Peace and Development (IAPD) on a global scale, with religious leaders from North America, South America, Korea, Japan and other parts of the world gathered together and attended the event at the Coliseum.

Women’s Federation for World Peace gathered women leaders and shared True Parents’ vision for the Global Women Peace Network. The participants received True Mother’s message at the rally with a renewed understanding of their roles as leaders in America.

The Peace Starts With Me youth workshop was also a successful initiative. High school students, young adults, and young families were able to share time together to explore the message of the workshop and rally, and offered True Mother their heartfelt dance performance.

Throughout the week, True Mother was happy and relaxed, as she prepared for the next destination of her world tour. The Nassau victory and the support of the American families gave her great encouragement, and she left East Garden en route to Zimbabwe with a singing send off by Generation Peace Academy participants.
