Finding Your Sacred Spaces
In light of the ongoing God’s Hope for America pilgrimage, DP Life has graced its blog with a very zen article on how to create your own sacred space near home.
It’s easier to connect to God when we can be in a place that reflects God’s qualities and creation. A beautiful, inviting and peaceful environment lends itself well to prayer and meditation. Places that hold great personal meaning to us are also where we can get closer to a deeper state of mind. That is why the Holy Grounds that True Father established are so powerful—he prayed there with great devotion, and when we visit these sites now, we still feel that presence there as we see what he saw and stand where he stood.
There are Holy Grounds all throughout America and the world. Consider visiting your local Holy Ground to pray for God’s Hope for this world, just as True Father did. At home, try to create your own sacred space as well—where you can connect to God on a daily basis.
