A True American Humanitarian

Each place on the God’s Hope for America road trip is unique. We have seen a lot of amazing sights, but the one thing in common at every location is the wonderful people we’ve met! We’ve talked to people from all over to find out what life has been like for them, what inspires them, and what their hope is for America. They’ve all taught us one thing: God’s hope is in the people.
We met Katherine Duncan, a true humanitarian and hard-working community activist. Throughout her life she has been concerned about people’s conditions, such as the plight of the inner city, homelessness, difficulties faced by veterans, and affordable energy in underserved communities. She has started many projects to address these issues, primarily in the city of Las Vegas, and credits her biggest supporters, along with God, to be her two sons.
Katherine is an Ambassador for Peace and is very active with the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) and the Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP). She organized a UPF event in Las Vegas that was attended by the mayor and other elected dignitaries, after which True Mother, impressed by Katherine’s work, invited her to attend a UPF conference in Uruguay. Katherine speaks to us about her vision for America and how her journey has brought hope to God.
