Building the Future from the Ground Up

The Minnesota Family Church is building a new church center from the ground up and they need our support.

With True Mother’s blessing, local families held a historical groundbreaking ceremony on May 23, 2018, and in just over a month the exterior walls and roof of the building have been built with construction expected to be completed by the end of September. The Minnesota Family Church families are not just building a new facility; they are building a new vision.

Since January 2017, general meetings were held to discuss the vision for the new church center. Every generation up to three generations has sat together for many hours to discuss the future and vision of the Unification Movement’s activities for their area.

The scope of this vision encompasses a $400,000 construction budget to create a beautiful witnessing environment with an upgraded social hall that will look like a stylish coffee shop and also serve as a banquet hall for Marriage Blessing Ceremonies. Unificationists can bring friends or guests, and introduce True Parents and study the Divine Principle in the social hall.

The center will also have a state-of-the-art audio/visual/lighting system in the sanctuary to create the best Sunday Service experience and a beautiful Marriage Blessing venue. A dedicated education zone for future generations is also a focus. Our children are the future and they want to create a fun learning environment for them to naturally grow in the understanding of their faith, and in their relationship with our Heavenly Parent and True Parents’ heart.

In the last three months, a total of $200,000 has already been raised with initial funding provided by the sale of Minnesota’s previous church center and earlier Minnesota properties that were sold.
