Happy 52nd Day of All True Things!

Today is an opportunity to offer heartfelt thanks for all the good things that God created—from creation to the love in our families. Many Unificationists have had pre-Holy Day celebrations this past Sunday. Many more will celebrate today and Sunday. Whether you celebrate at home or with your congregation, we wish everyone a happy Day of All True Things celebration!

This morning we received a beautiful Holy Day greeting from the Family Federation of World Peace and Unification in France. They chose a favorite section from the Cheon Seong Gyeong as their reading, and we would like to share it with you here:

“If God had been thinking only about Himself, would He have created heaven and earth? Creation requires an investment of energy. An artist’s great hope is to create a masterpiece. An artist invests all his effort into making great works of art. A masterpiece appears only when the artist gives everything, and feels he cannot give any more. Creation starts with investing oneself… The creation was the beginning of God’s work, through which He determined not to exist for His own sake, but for the sake of His object partner.”

As we are all made in the image of our Heavenly Parent, let us take a moment to give thanks and to appreciate all the many blessings from the creation we have received in our lives.
