To celebrate the 56th Day of All True Things, Unificationists around the country united together to express their appreciation for God’s creation through prayer and service.

Families in the tri-state area gathered at East Garden on June 14 to celebrate the 56^th Day of All True Things. Even on a weekday, many Unificationists, along with their children, joined to present their own personal offerings. East Garden set up a sensational offering table and delivered a beautiful service. The table represented the hearts of the brothers and sisters who helped prepare it in order to honor God and True Parents.

Family Federation for a Heavenly USA President Rev. Richard Buessing delivered the main address at East Garden. He said, “We tend to operate mechanically in big, industrial cities, therefore, it is important we live our lives in nature. It is easy to neglect the little things in this world that God has created. Father once said, ‘To love nature is to love people, and to love people is to love God.’ No one loved nature more than True Father, and it is important to have hobbies centered on nature.”

Rev. Buessing’s wife, Marjorie Buessing, said, “It was impressive how every race and religion was represented as well as all physical things of creation, which demonstrates True Parents’ efforts to be on the national level.”

The Colorado Family Church community celebrated the 56th Day of All True Things with a 7:00 a.m. pledge service on June 14, followed by a nice breakfast of croissants, yogurt and cake! Pastor Adonia read a few excerpts from True Father’s “Day of All Things” message in 1997.

“In the process of creation, God created all things first. Upon that foundation, God created our original ancestors, Adam and Eve. But because of their Fall, God lost everything. He lost His children and all things…if we truly understand the reality, the entire universe is more precious than our own children. More precious than anything else…All things want to be treated with appreciation by the true children of God. Once we reach that level all things will be happy to be absorbed by human beings.”

On Sunday, June 24, the Colorado Family Church once again celebrated the Day of All True Things at the newly remodeled Paco Sanchez Park located right behind the church! Shortly after Sunday Service, a sudden hailstorm chased the children and parents from the park back to the church, drenched. This worried the community that the day at the park will no longer continue. Miraculously, the storm stopped and the sun shined above the neighborhood, just in time to set up the barbecue. The families of the church, as well as the neighbors, came to the potluck with nicely prepared snacks, fruits, and desserts for everyone to share! The event gathered many people from the church and the West Colfax neighborhood to celebrate, have dinner, and enjoy the park all together as one big community.

Rev. Jeddie King, of the Kissimmee Family Church in Florida, opened their celebration service with a suitable prayer, followed by the singing of “Grace of the Holy Garden.”

During his sermon, Rev. King stated, “Had it not been for the fall of Adam and Eve, humanity would have been able to go directly to God. Using their own free will, Adam and Eve disconnected from God and fell below all things. From there, creation became closer to God than humanity because creation stayed on its original level. Humanity must now go through all things to return to God.”

After the celebration, many couples stayed for a workshop where they discussed the Fall of humankind and the importance of indemnity.

The Salt Lake City Family Church commemorated the Day of All True Things near the Holy Ground at Sugar House Park. Pastor Mike Stovall read from an early speech of True Father’s describing the meaning behind the Day of All Things, and the preparation it took for the Heavenly Parent to raise up a bride for the coming Lord. Lunch was served afterwards, with eight guests and friends joining to present their prayers and offerings.

To begin their celebration of the 56th Day of All True Things, the Ohio Family Church presented True Parents with a beautiful offering table. A pledge recitation, prayer and reading of True Father’s words from his 1997 “Day of All True Things “ speech followed. The celebration came to a close with the cutting of the cake and sharing a meal together as a community.

An astounding 35 brothers and sisters from the Chicago Family Church celebrated bright and early at 7:00 a.m. on June 14. Pastor Hiro Sagisaka spoke about how the establishment of this holy day led to greater events such as the 124 Couples Blessing. The Chicago Family Church concluded their ceremony with three heartfelt cheers of Eog Mansei for their last pledge service at the Higgins Chicago Church Center since they will be moving into a new church building at the end of the month.

The Clifton Family Church held their celebration at their local church. Instead of an early morning service, the community held the ceremony in the evening to allow more families to attend. After an opening prayer, a few songs, and a passage given by Pastor Manoj Jacob, all of the Blessed Families joined in for fellowship.

On Sunday June 17, the Washington, D.C. Family Church celebrated the holy day at their new location in the Founder’s room at The Washington Times. It was a joyful and uplifting celebration with holy songs, the cutting of the cake and a sermon given by pastor Dr. Achille Acolatse about the meaning of the Day of All True Things. After the sermon, Mrs. Tomiko Duggan gave a report on the 2018 Peace Road that took place on Memorial Day this year. After the service, families gathered in the cafeteria to share a meal and fellowship.

The Louisiana Family Church also celebrated on June 17 along with their June birthdays and a Father’s Day celebration at the home of the Thomas family.

Rev. John Monestere highlighted some of the incredible phenomena of nature. True Parents helped us realize the beauty, complexities and awe of the natural world for us to take care and cultivate with love. At the end of the service, Mr. Isamu Matsuya said he attended the celebration of The Day of All True Things in Japan 45 years ago and then flew to New York in time for True Father’s speech in Belvedere!

On Saturday morning, June 16, the Honolulu Family Church gathered at the Honolulu Family Learning Center to celebrate the 56th Day of All True Things. Several sisters began preparing the offering table the night before, which turned out beautifully.

During the service, Rev. Kazuo Takami first explained the significance of the Day of All True Things as an important milestone of God’s providence. Next, he showed a few video clips from TribeNet.org to explain the Vision 2020 project. The service concluded with three cheers of Eog Mansei and the fellowship of enjoying the delicious holy meal together.

Los Angeles Family Church held their service and celebration bright and early at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 17. About 250 participants had the opportunity to offer a bow and donation at the beautiful offering table which was prepared on the previous day by 12 volunteers.

The ceremony began at 10:00 a.m. with Holy Songs and the Cheon Il Guk Anthem followed by Kyungbae and reciting the Family Pledge. Many Unificationists offered up their musical talents, such as Jung Ju Yang who sang a congratulatory song to the medley of “Amazing Grace,” Shoha Tsuchida who excited the crowd with some rap music, and the LA Family Church band followed with a powerful song by Hyo Jin Moon.

Don Makowski led the three cheers of Eog Mansei after which everyone was invited to the celebratory luncheon of delicious Korean food. Following the celebratory meal came the activities. The Annual Day of All True Things Poster Contest winner, Yuka Oiwa, drew a beautiful water-color poster of All True Things. Other activities included both Men’s and Women’s Ping-Pong Tournament, a “Shave My Dad” game and Bingo. The LA Church community sure knows how to celebrate!

To celebrate both the Day of All True Things and Father’s Day, the Atlanta Family Church held their service on Sunday, June 17. It started with a recitation of the family pledge, prayer then readings about the meaning of the holy day. A wonderful short video was presented of True Parents interacting with creation. Afterward, three fathers shared their inspiring testimonies and insights about what it means to be a father.
