Overcoming Loneliness

Welcome to True Parents Way!

True Parents Way continues its blog series, “Divine Principle Sex Education.” As Adam matured, he encountered loneliness, and God said it was not good. Adam realized that Eve, who had been beside him all along, was created to end his loneliness. Now what does Adam do? To answer that, we pursue Eve’s side of the story, as the flesh of Adam’s flesh, bone of his bones. And here we encounter our subject matter: pornography.

This week’s video is entitled “A Lonely Understanding: The Path of True Mother.” Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon tells us that she went her course alone. Their eldest daughter, Ye Jin Moon, explains that after her marriage, “With tears and prayers, she had to endure repressive loneliness behind closed doors.” Rev. Moon said the same: “My understanding of God is a lonely understanding. One lonely man found the secret and lived through everything to bring the movement this far.”

Our Holy Marriage Blessing podcast is entitled, “The Home of God’s Love.” Pastor Ruth and Dr. Tyler discuss the four realms of heart and how the Holy Marriage Blessing is the foundation to realize them. We review the movie, “Patch Adams,” an example of how difficult it is to find true man-woman love. The Holy Marriage Blessing is the path to true freedom and happiness—but it does include encounters with loneliness.
