This week’s video is entitled “The Buck Stops Here.” In the Principle’s human body model for government, God corresponds to the brain, and His desires are received as “subtle commands …through Christ, who corresponds to the spinal cord, and God-loving leaders, who correspond to the peripheral nervous system.” So the buck stops at the brain, which in Cheon Il Guk is the Supreme Council. The Council is responsible to evoke the desires of God to office-holders and leaders of family, tribe and organizations. God’s desires, commanding in their subtlety, shape us as “one integrated and interdependent society.” 

Our Holy Marriage Blessing Easter podcast is entitled, “The Resurrection and the Marriage.” In John 6, Jesus called the crowds not to crucify him, but to be part of his body—his bride and his children. Upon hearing that salvation meant to love him, the crowds turned away. But Jesus never turned away from them. Even their mindless fear, hatred and betrayal could not destroy his love. For 2,000 years, those who received the resurrected Christ lived as his spiritual bride and children. True Parents, Sun Myung Moon and Hak Ja Han Moon, translate this, for all people born and unborn, into physical reality.
