This week we begin a new blog series, “The Third Reformation.” Cheon Il Guk, in Exposition of Divine Principle’s historical analysis, comes on the foundation of a third reformation. The spirit of state socialism and communism is overpowering today’s “second reformation” Christian worldview, and thus we witness Christian standards disappearing. As Exposition states, “the state of today’s Christianity desperately calls for a third reformation.” Through it, “the democratic world will bring the communist world to its knees.” And then what? “The two worlds will unite.” This is not a contradiction; it actually is the world’s only path forward.

Our video this week is entitled, “Heaven’s Feminism.” In 1977, Rev. Moon taught that “When you go to spirit world, you not only have a Heavenly Father but also a Heavenly Mother. …The father and mother become one and together represent the full image of God.” And he proclaimed that he and Mrs. Moon had fulfilled this ideal. “The invisible God, almighty God, can manifest through True Mother’s and my image. We are His visible image here on earth.” Fifteen years later, they established the Women’s Federation for World Peace. Is this Heaven’s feminism?

Our Christmas Holy Marriage Blessing podcast is entitled, “Birth of the Bridegroom.” Rev. Moon told us that “Whenever the perfect bride is prepared, the perfect bridegroom will inevitably come.” Two thousand years ago, Israel was that bride, and Jesus was born on Christmas Day, predestined to be the bridegroom. But the bride fell away. The world did not know True Parents until the perfect bride appeared. The promise of Christmas—Peace on Earth, Good Will towards Men—was left hanging then, but has been fulfilled today.
