In our blog series, “Sacrifice, Compassion, and Global Change,” True Father explains that Korea was chosen because of a particular kind of suffering called “Han,” which he connected to the history of Korean women. “The history of recreation,” he said, “will start from the nation where women suffered unbearably, historically.” True Mother echoed his words at the World Cup Stadium: “Through this people and on the Christian foundation, just as two thousand years ago, when God called Jesus ‘My Son,’ after six thousand years the only daughter whom God could call ‘My Daughter’ was born.”

Our video this week is entitled, “The Power of True Love.” By what power did the people of New York fill Madison Square Garden to celebrate “Peace Starts with Me”? It was the power of God’s true love. In 1992, True Mother explained true love’s power, based on “the system of thought advocated by my husband,” which, she said, will “serve as the guiding principle for women who will pioneer the future world.”

Thursday’s Holy Marriage Blessing podcast, “The Gift of Giving,” takes us into the Christmas season. Life is the gift of God’s giving through love. True Father said that love is even bigger than God, and God wants to be contained within the love that gets bigger and bigger and, at the same time, smaller and smaller—increasingly delicate, increasingly intimate. God does this by giving. So can we.
