A Weekend of True Love at IPEC

There were 10 participants who attended the latest three-day seminar at the International Peace Education Center (IPEC) in Las Vegas. On Friday, September 15th, Unificationists and friends from the United States, Canada, and Japan gathered to hear Rev. Andy Compton share his insight into the Divine Principle, the foundational text of the Unification faith tradition.

First-time guests were enthusiastic after hearing Rev. Compton speak that they plan to bring several relatives back to IPEC next month. Other attendees who have heard Divine Principle presentations throughout their lives remarked that they enjoyed studying and staying at IPEC, a beautiful, modern building with what one young woman called a “heavenly, reflective atmosphere.”

Hearing the Divine Principle and learning the heart of God was transformative for Unificationists attending the seminar. “I wanted to cry for God. It was a very moving and enlightening experience,” remarked one young Unificationist. “I desperately needed [this] and I feel very grateful and inspired to study the Divine Principle again more seriously.” Some of the guests at the seminar were touring America from Japan, and they appreciated the concrete examples that Rev. Compton used to make the lecture easy to understand, as well as the uniquely American viewpoint from which Compton spoke.
