The Impact of True Mother’s Message at the Garden
In the following testimonies, two Unificationists convey the impact of True Mother’s message at Madison Square Garden.
True Mother’s words were greatly appreciated and liberating. Her message and presence encouraged me as a mother and grandmother to trust in the power that dwells in me.
I returned on the bus with Pastor Sagisaka of Chicago Family Church. Filled in the spirit of joy, the urgency of your historical message reminded me of the “Freedom Riders” movement in the 1960’s. Sharing my Emancipation Proclamation message with those present, I felt that we too were on a mission to be Riders for Peace and building Family in America today. Many heard True Mother’s message. Some will remember it and share. Then, there are those, like myself, who will place it in our hearts, live and create a culture of peace in our family and community, as best we can. To me, True Parents are the Living word of God in America.
True Mother’s presence has increased my hope for America and encouraged a greater expectation.
–Mini. Joy Sigur-Ramza, Chicago, Illinois
“In the speech, True Mother proclaimed herself as the “only begotten daughter of God.” Every time True Mother proclaims that she is the “only begotten daughter of God”, my understanding is that as True Father, the only begotten son is no longer with us here on earth, True Mother is reassuring God, telling Him, “your only begotten daughter is here. Don’t worry, I am in charge and will take care of your sons and daughters and your will.”
She is also proclaiming to being the “only begotten daughter of God” in front of humankind with absolute faith and absolute confidence with heaven and earth as witnesses. Therefore, no one can no longer say, “We did not know.” Even Satan needs to hear it; he is a witness too. My deepest prayer and hope is that soon an influential individual will stand before the world and proclaim over and over that our True Mother is the “only begotten daughter of God.” Then, she will no longer have to do it for herself.

Growing up as a Seventh day Youth where issues of Begotten Daughter Could not be imagined, I was very very close to Jesus, and still is. My major concern was always why they cOuld not have a superwoman like Jesus. After studying divine principle, I was just too thrilled, to find such a one, saying
HERE IS THE CHURCH THAT ANSWERS MY SILENT QUESTION OF YEARS OF HEARTACHE AND THE FACT THAT I MET HER IN MY LITTLE LIFETIME. I WAS JUST TOO THRILLED TO DIG OUT ANYTHING ELSE.
Now, the question of only begotten son has been there for 2000 years. It will continue for millenia, regardless of who it is, Jesus for christianity and True Father for us. However, there has never been a begotten daughter in human history. As I sat there watching our
True Mother Smile at America for the 1st time since True Fathers Sunghwa, I was immensely grateful to be there. I am thrilled to believe in a begotten daughter alongside a begotten son. She is my hero, my hope and fulfilment who encapsulates the true dignity of all women. Long live my hero. My Superwoman. my Mother.

Hi Jane, I share your excitement having a superwoman like Jesus. You were certainly ahead of the times to have already been thinking about the Begotten Daughter. How lucky we are to have True Mother to lead us during these troubled times.
