Plan to purchase water at the Garden in case your water bottle is confiscated upon entry.

I have a guest who would like to hear Mother’s speech but can’t come to NYC. How can the family experience the program through the Web?

What if you don’t have a headset plug on your phone? What if one doesn’t even have a cell phone?

      Hi Carmen,
If you don’t have a headphone jack on your phone, consider purchasing a headphone splitter and headphones, so you can plug into the phone of the person sitting beside you. Please also check this page later this week in case more information on translation options becomes available.

It says to bring a cell phone for translation but does not really say how the content will be delivered.
Will people be dialing a phone number for the duration of the speech, or downloading an app, or using WiFi to connect with a browser for instance? That could affect what type of phone someone should bring, for example will people need a smart phone? Will everyone including guests need to use a phone for listening?

The FAQ has been updated to the following: Translation services will be offered via calling in. Be sure to bring a cell phone for translation purposes, as well as headphones. Make sure your cell phone battery is charged enough to use throughout the event. Smartphones are not necessary. Translation services will be offered in English, Japanese, and Spanish.

If the boy occupies a seat, a ticket is needed. If he sits with his parents, no ticket is needed.

Has anyone heard if there will be shuttles provided on Sunday after the activities from Belvedere to NY city and/or to any airports?
