GOP Now Accepting 2017-2018 Applications
Learn Korean ~Experience the Unification tradition and lifestyle ~ Inherit the Culture of Heart ~ Take an Adventure!
Imagine a place where children explore and grow in their faith while also learning the language and culture of True Parents. The General Orientation Program (GOP) in Korea has provided an immersive cultural and spiritual experience for young people for over 30 years.
When your child enrolls in the GOP 2017-2018 school year, he or she will have the opportunity to learn the Korean language, experience Korean food, culture and lifestyle and visit places where True Parents carried out their providential course.
Students between 12-15 years old are invited to participate in this unique program that provides academic and experiential learning within a spiritually nurturing community. The GOP staff is dedicated to providing a warm and safe living environment in which your son or daughter can thrive academically as well as spiritually. Students often come to grow their knowledge of the Korean language, and they will ultimately grow in heart and spirit as well.
GOP has recently moved to the HJ Cheonwon Complex from Sun Hwa Arts School in Seoul in September 1, 2016 and True Mother gave the school a new name: Sunhak Institute of Korean Studies for Foreign Blessed Children. True Parents wish to enable international blessed children to have a chance to learn True Parents’ language, faith and tradition. Since the appointment of Yeon Ah Moon as Principal at the end of 2014, she has taken a great interest in the students and the program, and worked with staff to strengthen it.
Harmonious Living
At GOP, students live and study with others from different cultures and backgrounds. Students learn to take ownership over their faith by broadening and deepening their understanding of God’s will and heart. Together, students and staff learn to inherit a culture of heart through caring for one another.
Academic Excellence
GOP prides itself on the quality of education that it provides to each student.
Korean classes focus on conversation, grammar and culture. Other areas of study include the Divine Principle, English, Math and Social Studies. Along with their studies, students participate in daily Hoon Dok Hwe (scripture reading), evening closing sessions, weekly Sunday Service and major church events.
Students who wish to continue their education in Korea are eligible to apply to a Korean middle school upon completion of the one-year GOP program. Additionally, a half-year intensive Korean Language Study (PREP) is available for those who choose this option.
Learning Outside the Classroom
Included in the program are monthly class trips designed to broaden students’ understanding of Korea and the Unification faith. In previous years, students had the opportunity to participate in Cheong Pyeong workshops at least twice during the year, though there may be more opportunities to do so as the GOP campus moves into the HJ Cheonwon region.
This cultural immersion helps students to gain a well-rounded understanding of Korean culture and Unificationist philosophy, while at the same time providing them with meaningful life skills and character development.

Piero wants to continue GOP education this year again and we are committed to support him financially, ( as you may remember he lost both parents and there are no other support than us ) however we have so many commitment to other causes also, so if you could give him a scholarship, I would really appreciate.
And the date to arrive and leave so we can get the plane ticket.
We are going to travel Korea for our ministry from Aug. 18 to Sep. 18, we can bring tuition that time if that is okay with you.
Thank you
