New Appointment for FFWPU International
We are happy to announce that Dr. Ki Hoon Kim, the Regional President for FFWPU North America, has been appointed to the additional responsibility of the International Vice President of FFWPU, effective March 17, 2017. We wish him all the best in this important role working together with Dr. Sun Jin Moon, our International President.
“I am pleased and humbled by this recognition,” Dr. Kim said after the announcement was made at a weekly ministry meeting in New York. “I see this as a further confirmation of the high expectations True Parents have for our American family movement. They have always taught us that as the “elder son” nation in God’s providence, America has two simple responsibilities: to offer filial support to True Parents, and to take care of all the other nations of the world as a kind elder brother.”
FFWPU USA President Dr. Michael Balcomb welcomed the new appointment and promised Dr. Kim the enthusiastic support of all the American membership. “This is good news for America,” he said “the only way forward for our nation is with God, and to be first in serving others, and we will do our best.”
We welcome everyone to answer the call to support the world providence as families living in the elder son nation.
