Cheongpyeong 2014 Summer Workshops
Young people from around the world are invited to participate in the Cheongpyeong workshops this summer. These devotional workshops last 21 days for junior and high school students, and 40 days for university students. The goals of this workshop are to understand the heart of God and True Parents, to practice the Divine Principle in daily life, and to prepare for building a true family. The workshops include service work, field trips, and daily education and scripture reading from the Divine Principle, the Pyeong Hwa Shin Gyeong, and True Father’s autobiography As a Peace-Loving Global Citizen. Daily activities are designed to provide a deep and spiritually cleansing experience in the heart of the education facilities in Cheongpyeong, Korea.
Summer schedules are set for international young people of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification and now would be a good time to book plane tickets for these programs, which begin this July. The exact schedules are available on the workshop information page along with more detailed information on the workshops, costs, payment and preparation.
For staff to prepare and create an effective and fruitful workshop, it is essential for them to know who and how many will be coming. Please register for the workshop by June 15. If you are ready to register now, please visit the Cheongpyeong Seonghwa website and following the instructions.
Interested students should note that the second anniversary of True Father’s Seonghwa, or ascension, is on Tuesday, August 12, 2014. For those who would like to attend this event as well, we recommend that you book your returning flight for Wednesday, August 13 or later.
