Blessing Ceremony Held on Fourth Seonghwa Anniversary

Roosevelt Loyd and Barbara Vondracek Loyd gratefully participated in the Marriage Blessing Ceremony of True Parents on August 19, 2016, as New Mexico Unificationists commemorated the Fourth Anniversary of True Father’s Seonghwa. The combined Blessing ceremony and Seonghwa commemoration took place at the Albuquerque Family Church.

Roosevelt originally joined the Unification movement in 1978. Recently, he has been living and working near Taos, New Mexico. Barbara became a Unificationist in 2012 and not only has been an active member of the Melbourne Family Church but also serves as vice president of the Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) chapter in Victoria, Australia: WFWP Victoria.

Barbara has worked as a professional in the film, television, radio, and photography industries in Australia and is keen to use her professional experience in these fields to support True Mother’s Vision 2020 goals and help advance God’s providence for humankind however she can.

On the day of the ceremony, Roosevelt commented that the Blessing had been a “long time coming,” as he has been working toward it since he first joined in 1978. Barbara was overwhelmed by the inspiration and love she felt for the grace, love, and unwavering devotion to Heavenly Parent demonstrated by True Parents, as well as for True Parents’ making their Blessing Ceremony possible.
