The following is a letter from the staff of the Cheongpyeong Heaven and Earth Training Center, inviting youth and young adults to attend this year’s summer workshops. This year’s staff will be comprised of Global Top Gun alumni who are ready and raring to go!
Registration is now open and participants are already signing up. It will close June 25, 2016, so sign up soon! Read on for more information.
Dear Students and Parents,
The staff here at Cheongpyeong are busy getting ready for this summer’s 40-day and 21-day youth workshops, and YOU are invited!
Youth from 12-18 and young adults from 19-29 are encouraged to apply for this unique opportunity. The workshop will bring together participants from all around the world and will give attendees a chance to be immersed in a spiritually stimulating environment while exploring the rich culture of Korea.

We are looking for participants who are genuinely excited about attending and who are ready to explore and take ownership of their own faith. We expect participants to be mature and responsible, as well as open to new experiences. Our goal is for attendees to leave with a stronger connection to our Heavenly Parent, and a deeper understanding of the history of the Unification movement. Since we will be an international group, with people from all over the globe, we hope that this will also be a chance for participants to practice seeing from the view point of our Heavenly Parent. Workshop attendees will have a chance to broaden their horizons by interacting with a highly diverse group of young people.

The 40-day workshop will take place from July 1-August 9, and is recommended for high school and college students. The 21-day workshop from July 1-21, is recommended for junior high students. Some exceptions may be made with prior permission. All students should be able to understand English. A pilgrimage to the holy grounds in Yeosu and Busan, on July 19-21, is included in both workshops. Students in the first 21-day workshop who wish to attend the pilgrimage should plan to depart on July 22 or later.
Please see, and where necessary submit, the following documents for more details or to confirm your attendance.
We encourage participants to set a clear intention for the workshop and to begin a personal devotional practice, either on their own or with their family, before their arrival.

We are so looking forward to meeting all of you and having a once in a lifetime experience. For more information, please contact Miilhan Stephens, Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) USA vice president, at mstephens@unification.org.
We wish you all a wonderful summer and hope to see you in Korea soon!
