National Ministry Team Comings and Goings
Pastor inauguration at the DC Family Church
Several Unificationist communities started the month of May with pastoral transitions, and held a Pastoral Inauguration Ceremony during their Sunday Service program on May 1.
In Minneapolis, the community welcomed Rev. Hyungtae Ha and his wife as the new District 8 Pastor. The Chicago Family Church welcomed Rev. David Rendel as their new pastor. In Washington, D.C., a new pastor trinity consisting of Achille Acolatse, Ndassi Yorkzarh, and Jean Pierre Sonna was installed and a celebration service was held for Rev. Zagery Oliver as he transitions from his role of eight years as pastor at the DC Family Church.
Each of these communities held a beautiful ceremony for the occasion. In Minneapolis, Mrs. Amadea DeGroot was offered an award of appreciation for her service as the District 8 Representative for three years. Miilhan Stephens, Vice President of Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) USA, led the community in a congregational prayer to welcome Rev. Ha.
