Las Vegas CARP Leads 2-Day Workshop
On April 15-16, 2016, six guests attended a weekend Divine Principle retreat led by the Collegiate Association for the Research of Principles (CARP). The workshop was held at the Cheong Hwa Gung in Las Vegas, Nevada, and consisted of four lively lectures given by Las Vegas CARP President, Jinil Fleischman.

In his presentations, Jinil led with the question, “Why do we need true love?” and covered the Divine Principle chapters of the Principle of Creation, the Human Fall, and the Purpose of the Messiah. The workshop coordinators kept the guests engaged with activities, discussions and songs, and many of the guests said that they enjoyed the family atmosphere among the CARP students and looked forward to staying in touch.

As the group sat around the bonfire on the first night of the workshop, Lorna Todd gave a touching testimony about how the Divine Principle transformed her. Her story highlighted the power of the Principle to bring people together, and how it empowered her to discover her true purpose in life.

The guests left the workshop inspired, which instilled a great sense of hope both in the participants and the CARP staff.
