Christian Men’s Group Studies Divine Principle

Rev. Raymond Giddens, a member of the American Clergy Leadership Conference (ACLC) and Pastor of the Unity Baptist Church in Las Vegas, Nevada invited Las Vegas Unificationists Dan Stein and Kyoko Yamaguchi to share a lecture at his church’s Men’s Ministry Study Group.

Pastor Giddens has embraced many of the teachings of the Divine Principle, including the Fall of Man, the failure of John the Baptist, and the Mission of Jesus, and has been seeking further understanding of True Parents’ role as the Second Coming of the Messiah.  Recently he invited these two lecturers to come teach the Fall of Man to his Men’s Ministry group, of which many members have attended a Marriage Blessing Ceremony held at their church in November 2015.

On April 9, Dan and Kyouko Yamaguchi were warmly welcomed at the Unity Baptist Church. Over 15 elder brothers gathered to listen to the lecture. The brothers were moved by both the presentation and the discussion and will share this revelation with the young adults of their congregation.

Dan’s presentation was very powerful. He shared that Christianity is in crisis. The church has lost its backbone and moral authority in society, and is watching helplessly as its young people are being taken, one by one, by the Fall, into the secular world, never to return. The good news, he said, is that God had known that such a day was coming, and had sent His messenger, True Parents, to share this message with the world and teach the world about the repercussions of the Fall.

The participants listened attentively and received the message well. After the presentation, a Q&A session and discussion was facilitated by Rev. Emanuel Wasson. Rev. Wasson also gave a beautiful testimony on how the Fall of Man’s truth gave him strength in his marriage life.

Pastor Giddens gave the closing prayer and also commented that each person who attended the study session should reach out to spread the message:  “each one, reach one.”
