Last year we organized a 2nd gen couples workshop in France and gave these books as gifts to each couple afterwards. My husband and I also read them as well. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. It is simple and interesting to read with practical applications and topics for group study plus action plans at the end of each chapter. Honestly, I think it should be required reading for all blessed couples, first and second generation both as it can help couples so much and provides ideas to strengthen relationships in a very simple, clear, down to earth, practical and creative way. Debbie takes all her wisdom and years of experience in counseling and emparts them in this great book. Also, this makes a great blessing present. I give it 5 stars. Whether you are 21 and just starting out or 67 like my husband, you can learn a lot about how to improve your relationship.
