Virginia Unificationists Become Blessing Education Pastors

Since July 2015, leaders of the International Family Center for Jesus’s True Parents Consciousness (IFC), located in Richmond, Virginia, have taken on the role of Marriage Blessing education pastors in Virginia. With the support of District 1, the Northern Virginia Family Church and the greater FFWPU community, pastors have made it a priority to reach out to others to promote True Parents’ mission and the gift of the Marriage Blessing.

The second Saturday and Sunday of each month were reserved for reaching out to other faith communities. Because of this, they have held six Blessing-related education seminars and participated in a Blessing ceremony. They also have helped coordinate, emcee, and participate in three ACLC True Family Values Clergy Blessing Education events.

A special Christmas gathering was held on Sunday, December 20, 2015, in Richmond. It was a wonderful celebration of the season and a great way to spend time with each other.

IFC associates, Ambassadors for Peace, and local community members are gearing up for a Clergy Couples Retreat at the Imani Temple outside Washington, D.C, on February 12 to 14, 2016. They look forward to continuing to build relationships and to serve their growing community.

    Please send me any Power Points or material you are using in this education. God is calling me to commit to the Mission of “Blessed Marriage and Family Ministries”. I believe that without good families, good nations are not possible. What is also great about an “Eternal Blessing” based ministry is that it is both deep and wide. Deep because it must start with me, and my wife. Not only the Bowman family, but thousands of “blessed families” need support, encouragement, education, and (most of all) we all need to SEE examples of REAL Blessed Families that are Happy and Prosperous. Why do so many of our 2nd gen want nothing to do with “the blessing”? They do not wish to make a marriage that resembles their parents. In sales terms, they know and reject the product quality. What is the answer? We really need to work on our product quality. Frankly, the worst thing we could do right now is to rush out to the streets and “advertise & sell” our “product” before debugging it. We Moonies have much to learn about ideal marriage & family life. Am I hopeless? No. Let the journey begin. Lets learn and grow together. Our older brothers & sisters (Jews, Christians, Muslims, Mormons,) have all been at this a lot longer than us. It would be arrogant of us not to see if we can pluck some pearls of wisdom from their treasure house. What say you?

    Becoming “Blessing educators” is a great idea. Its then becomes a special mission with a clear focus. Please send me any PowerPoints or material you are using in this education.
