Parents and Youth Gather for Bullying Prevention Workshop

On Friday, October 23, 2015, the Family Education and Empowerment Foundation (FEEF) hosted a Parents and Youth Empowerment Gathering in Las Vegas on the topic of bullying and cyber-bullying, specifically covering prevention methods. Eighty parents and youth gathered at the Villanova Apartments Clubhouse to hear Clark County School District representatives present information on bullying. The presenters discussed that children are not only possibly victims of bullying, but could also be the instigators. This workshop encouraged communication between parents and children to create an environment where children can open up and share everything that happens to them, and receive support and guidance from their parents.
The FEEF supports the idea that the family is the school of love and hosts regular workshops on bullying and other topics designed to support families in growing together. Visit their website for more information, news and upcoming events.
