Families in Nepal Receive Donations from USA

After the disastrous earthquake in Nepal in April 2015, Unificationists in Nepal rallied together to provide relief and services for those affected. The international community responded in kind, and to date, FFWPU USA has collected $32,526.85 from the generous donations of Unificationists in America.

These much needed funds were able to provide 65 families with $500 each, which was presented in a special ceremony in Nepal. Cheon Il Guk Special Envoy to Nepal, Hon. Ek Nath Dhakal, spoke to those gathered about the donations collected from FFWPU USA. Rev. Santosh Paudel, President of FFWPU Nepal;  Mr. Prakash Babu Thapa of the Directory of Heavenly Tribal Messiah Department, and FFWPU Nepal lecturer, Mr. Richell Jalipa, also spoke at the gathering.

Each family came on stage to accept their donation, which will support them with food, clothing, books and other family expenses for up to one month. In the wake of the earthquake, local families continue to rebuild their lives. On behalf of all the recipients, FFWPU Nepal would like to send sincere thanks and gratitude to all FFWPU USA families for their generous donations, support and prayer.
