National 7-Day Divine Principle Seminar Begins
The second 7-Day Divine Principle workshop at the newly-opened International Peace Education Center (IPEC) in Las Vegas has begun! After a successful turnout for the Divine Principle workshop in May, participants continue to warm the rooms of IPEC and the local church sanctuary with a passion for learning the Divine Principle. They will study the Divine Principle from beginning to end in seven days with discussion-based lectures, Q&A sessions and an interactive program.

The Kickoff
On Saturday, July 25, the workshop kicked off to a great start with 10 participants from all over America. The following day, Sunday, they received special inspiration from Dr. Ki Hoon Kim, Continental Chair of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) as he offered the Sunday sermon. There was lots of love from the local community, as well, who joined in during sports activities.
Rev. Andrew Compton, organizer of the workshop, gave presentations on the Principle of Creation and the Fall. Although each participant came from a different background and circumstance, everyone was engaged and grateful for the opportunity to study the Divine Principle in more depth.

Besides the 10 fully registered participants for the 7-day workshop, there were others from the local community, including several new Unificationists, attending on a day-to-day basis. Jin Soon Stephens, the workshop coordinator, along with members of the local church and Collegiate Association for the Research of Principles (CARP) center offered support to make this workshop an unforgettable experience.
This Week
With so much in store, the participants will continue to study the Divine Principle and engage in discussion groups. Workshop participants are excited for a scheduled outing to Hoover Dam and touring the newly built IPEC later this week.

This workshop is a special one: it’s the continuation of the tradition of Divine Principle workshops at IPEC, which will continue to be held monthly. Stay tuned for the next one and be sure to sign up!
