Your Weekly Update
Every Friday the National Ministry Team compiles stories and important upcoming events in a quick weekly update video. Here is what we cover this week.
Monthly National Ministry Meeting
On July 15, 2015, the national ministry team held a morning meeting to regroup, share updates and upcoming opportunities, and welcome Dr. Ki Hoon Kim, Continental Chair of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) North America, back to America after his recent visit with True Mother in Korea.
National Summer Camps Shape Lives
Summer camps nationwide are sparking passionate response from hundreds of participants and staff. They take the Divine Principle and True Parents’ teachings to the next level by creating an environment for campers to experience these life principles for themselves, along with a culture of heart as one family under God.
Peace Road
We’re already halfway along the Peace Road! In the recent weeks, we’ve seen the Peace Road flag make its way through Luxembourg, China, Uruguay, Morocco – and many other countries through Europe, Asia, South America and Africa, and starting tomorrow we’ll take on the baton and follow the Peace Road right here in America!
Level 2 Blessing Workshop
On June 28–29, 43 young adults, parents, and staff hosted a Preparing for Marriage: Level 2 Blessing Workshop at the beautiful Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. This workshop was significant in that it was the first time the Level 2 Blessing Curriculum package was used on a local level in the Chicago/Wisconsin area, which comes complete with presentation slides, and small group discussions, and a user manual.
40-Day Prayer for the Third Anniversary of True Father’s Seonghwa
Starting this Monday, the Third Anniversary of True Father’s Seonghwa is only 40 days away. The national ministry team encourages everybody to prepare in heart and mind for this day by praying, studying the Holy Scriptures, making a contribution, and letting others know about True Parents.
