England WFWP Gathers for Women’s Peace Meeting

In the latest Women’s Peace Meeting, participants discussed the devastating crisis in the Middle East. Over 140 women came together, bringing their heart of compassion, concern and generosity. Speakers included representatives from Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, the UK, and a woman who had recently returned from Jordan having visited a refugee camp there.
Sisterhood Breakfast Gathering in Madrid, Spain

A large group of Unificationist women gathered for a breakfast at the national headquarters in Madrid, Spain on June 6, 2015 to celebrate friendship and the work done over 20 years in the movement.
In the past years, they have organized a vast number of programs, ranging from workshops on personal growth to huge events of sisterhood and bridges of peace between diverse cultures with round table meetings, conferences, seminars and charity events. All those events had one sole purpose: to improve participants’ capacity to understand and serve others.
At the breakfast, participants engaged in a stimulating program. Tina Lindhard, based on her expertise, led the group in a short meditation. Blanca del Castillo, an actress and instructor of Bio-dance, told an amusing tale, and María Villarroya, poetess and singer, closed the gathering on a high and heartfelt note, singing two original pieces. These three women highlighted the idea that all to be accomplished—our personal growth and serving the world—is in our hands.
